• Aircraft profile data (call signs, aircraft types, weight and balance specifications, CG envelopes)
• Flight plan information (routes, waypoints, fuel calculations, weight calculations)
• Custom checklists and checklist items
• Radio station frequencies and details
• Notes and drawings created in the notepad feature
• Calculator inputs and saved calculations
• Weight and balance configurations
• Additional aircraft arms and fuel tank configurations

1.2 Information We Collect Automatically

When you use our app, we may automatically collect:

• Device information (device type, iOS version, device identifiers)
• App usage analytics (features used, calculation frequency, crash reports)
• Performance data to improve app functionality
• App version and update information

1.3 Data Storage and Encryption

All flight and aircraft data you create is stored locally on your device using encrypted storage. This includes your aircraft profiles, flight plans, checklists, and personal notes. We do not have access to this encrypted data stored on your device.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide flight planning and aviation calculation services
• Perform weight and balance calculations for flight safety
• Enable checklist functionality for pre-flight and in-flight procedures
• Provide aviation calculators (wind correction, crosswind, airspeed, etc.)
• Maintain your personal notepad and drawing capabilities
• Improve app performance and fix technical issues
• Provide customer support when requested
• Ensure compliance with aviation safety standards

3. Information Sharing and Local Storage

GenAv CoPilot is designed with privacy in mind. Your flight data remains private:

• Local Storage: All your aircraft profiles, flight plans, checklists, and calculations are stored locally on your device using encrypted storage
• No Cloud Sync: We do not automatically sync your personal flight data to cloud servers
• No Data Sharing: We do not sell, trade, or share your flight planning data with third parties
• Limited Exceptions: We may only access aggregated, anonymized usage data for app improvement purposes
• Legal Compliance: We may disclose information only if required by law or to protect safety

4. Data Security and Encryption

We take the security of your aviation data seriously:

• Device Encryption: All flight data is encrypted using iOS built-in security features
• Local Storage: Data remains on your device and is protected by your device's security measures
• No Network Transmission: Your sensitive flight planning data is not transmitted over networks
• App Security: The app follows Apple's security guidelines and iOS security framework

However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of data stored on your device.

5. Data Retention and Control

You have full control over your flight planning data:

• Local Control: All data is stored locally on your device and you can delete it at any time
• App Deletion: Uninstalling the app will remove all locally stored data
• Selective Deletion: You can delete individual aircraft profiles, flight plans, or checklists within the app
• Data Export: You can export your data for backup or transfer purposes
• No Remote Retention: We do not retain copies of your flight planning data on remote servers

6. Your Rights and Data Control

As a GenAv CoPilot user, you have complete control over your data:

• Access: All your data is accessible within the app at any time
• Modification: You can edit, update, or correct any flight data within the app
• Deletion: You can delete individual items or all data by uninstalling the app
• Portability: Export features allow you to back up or transfer your data
• Local Control: Since data is stored locally, you maintain complete control
• No Account Required: The app functions without creating an account or providing personal information

7. Children's Privacy

GenAv CoPilot is designed for licensed pilots and aviation professionals. While the app does not collect personal information, we recommend that users under 13 have parental supervision when using aviation planning tools. If you are a parent or guardian and have concerns about your child's use of the app, please contact us.

8. No International Data Transfers

Since GenAv CoPilot stores all flight planning data locally on your device, there are no international data transfers of your personal flight information. Any app analytics data that may be collected follows standard iOS data handling practices.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Data Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.

10. Third-Party Services and Aviation Data

GenAv CoPilot operates as a standalone application with minimal third-party integrations:

• No External APIs: Flight planning calculations are performed locally
• No Social Sharing: The app does not integrate with social media platforms
• Apple Services: The app uses standard iOS frameworks and may utilize Apple's analytics services
• Aviation Compliance: All calculations follow standard aviation formulas and regulations

Any future integrations with third-party services will be clearly disclosed and optional.
